| bclint |

    | 0.37-20030812CVS |

    | 153kb |
    | | bclint is a bc-compliance checker line command tool. It uses
7 passes parsing process to determine whether a given piece of source
code has been body-coded. It uses the common criteria developed at
      the BCIC for this purpose.

    | apt-bc |

    | 0.00123 |

    | 17kb |
    | | For debian and bc enthousiasts body-coding interface for selecting
new packages to install, upgrade, remove or purge from your system.
This version adds an option to allow removing of the kernel and libc.

    | rpm2bc |

    | 7.68 |

    | 788kb |
    | | rpm2bc transforms a normal rpm package into a bodycoded software.
The final features of the output of rpm2bc are specific of the original
rpm and of the kind of body-coding constraints you select.
Defaults on "mild body-coding" for an enjoyable experience.

    | gimp-bc |

    | 4.211 |

    | 5331kb |
    | | The long awaited bc edition of gimp, the Open Software image tool.
A particular strength of gimp-bc is its body-coding oriented user
interface and the support of more than 145 different keyboard types.

    | gimp-print-bc |

    | 4.211 |

    | 330kb |
    | | Natural companion of gimp-bc, this patched version of the gimp-print
routines enhances the rendition on most printers of images created by
      body-coding. | | |

    | apache-bc |

    | 2.0bc-07 |
    | | This special branch of the apache server development has been revised
to allow the use of body-coded configuration files. |
A very important component of BodyCoding efficency is the KEYBOARD.
Here is a
very technical view of a keyboard that is typically used for BodyCoding
(don't worry if you do not understand all this schematic, it took years to
professional BodyCoders to design it).
High level praticionners of BodyCode are usually at ease with a very
specialized vocabulary : keys, space, controls, and other too technical
terms to be cited without a reasonnably long explanation. (some people
believe this is a reason why emacs users are often very good at BodyCoding,
even before the usual 4 years of training). Some companies are investing on research aimed to provided to BodyCoders
high-quality equipments, including keyboards. Some economical newspapers noticed that those companies had very good
quotations and resisted to traditional financial crisis (cf Technical Report TR31).

  extreme conditions :

A: Ferro-electric film
B: Semi-conductor subtrate
C: Ground-plane conductor
D: Bias connections
E: Microstrip patches (zoom)

|
R&D centers actually study towards two main directions :

Soft keybordsWearable keyboards (see "wearable computers at MIT" to further
explanations)
| Example of a wearable keyboard | Example of a soft keyboard |
| | Some companies are working on keyboards labelled as "BodyCoding
hardware for kids", some sociological studies are ongoing about influence
  of praticing BodyCoding for children.
|
Some companies sell keyboard advertising that they are "suitable for use in cars".
Our advice is to avoid praticionning BodyCoding into cars, unless you are in a professionnal league
for a long time
